Trafonti è una azienda 

agricola biologica costituita da una casa colonica 

L'attività principale della nostra azienda è l'allevamento biologico di suini allo stato semibrado.

La nostra produzione, pur su piccoli numeri, è a ciclo completo. L'allevamento è infatti garantito in sede fin dalla nascita dei piccoli,  poiché l'azienda possiede verro e fattrici  in grado di garantire tutta la filiera corta di produzione e vendita diretta.

Trafonti is a characteristic and organic rustic farm (41 ha. about) located in the north-east  side of the Florence Province, at 35 km from Florence and at 12 Km from the big town of Pontassieve. It is completely dived in a natural and panoramic area situated at 692 mt on the level of the sea. It is close to the Natural Biogenetic Reserve of Vallombrosa.

The main activity of our organic farming is the pig-breeding   in a wild and natural state.

Our production, just on small size, is at full cycle. The pig-breeding is guaranteed in our location starting from the birth of each joey, just because the farm has boars and sows in order to guarantee  the traceability (short die) of production and direct selling.
